Membership

Members and Volunteers
Any Branch is free to engage individual members and volunteers who ascribe to the principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and to ZRCS’s Volunteer and Members code of conduct and ethics. Members and Volunteers shall be described in detail as follows:

Members – Individuals who ascribe to the Red Cross and Red Crescent RCRC Movement principles, are registered as members of the Society through a Branch; and volunteer their time to assist in the operations of the National Society. Such individuals also pay an annual subscription fee as may be prescribed in the Membership policy and participate in Branch Council Meetings with voting rights. All members shall adhere to the National Society’s code of conduct

Volunteers - Individuals who ascribe to the RCRC Movement principles and volunteer their time to assist in the operations of the National Society. Such individuals must adhere to ZRCS’s volunteer code of conduct, do not pay any annual subscription fee, and do not participate in Branch Council Meetings.
